Large Scale MCF production for future SDM networks

A large-scale fabrication process is presented based on two 7-core MCF for short reach and long-haul applications, respectively. Measurements indicate very good geometrical and optical performance. The feasibility of industry-level manufacturing of MCF paves the way to economic MCF solutions.
