Experiences of loss and grief in adults with acquired brain injury (ABI): A systematic review and meta synthesis of qualitative studies

Findings suggest that people with moderate to severe ABI go through a significant process of change and adaptation in relation to grief and loss and their sequelae. Given the enduring nature of the injury and changing needs of the individual, rehabilitation may need to be increasingly personalised and responsive.
