University student skill’s monitoring system

Job collocation is a great challenge for professionals; companies look for profiles with skills and verifiable work experience. Univesities and Education Institutions have this great responsibility. Mechanisms they have to develop skills are: educational program, professional practices and thesis. This work is aimed at determining the skills that students of the Information Technology and Communications Engineering degree at the Tecnológico de México Campus Salvatierra can develop. The proposed work can be applied to any higher education educational institution. To determine the skills students can develop, a review of the different programs and calls for students to participate was carried out. The purpose of the proposed monitoring system is to record skills that students have throughout their academic life. Among which are academic competitions, research projects, training, certifications, communication, languages, work experience, class projects, class grades and hobbies.
