Abstract

Aneuploidy and the purpose of preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) Chromosome abnormalities (predominantly aneuploidy: extra (trisomy) or missing (monosomy) chromosomes) are collectively the leading cause of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) failure, pregnancy loss and developmental delay in humans.
