QRS Complex Detection Using Tahar Differentiator

A signal from an electrocardiogram, often known as an ECG, is one of the physiological signals that can be used to assess a person's health and identify any diseases that may be present. Extraction of the QRS component from the electrocardiogram signal has been a significant area of research for a number of years. For the purpose of QRS detection, the Pan-Tompkins method is a well-known and commonly utilised technique. This method includes a digital differentiator as one of its basic parts. Over the course of this research, an attempt is made to investigate the operation of the Pan Tompkins algorithm by substituting the digital differentiator block with the infinite impulse response digital differentiators. All of the simulations are executed with the help of MATLAB, and the outcomes that are obtained are comparable to those acquired using the traditional method.
