Enhancing Sustainable Algal Growth and Biomass Conversion in Lebanon: Integrating Photo-bioreactors and Spray Dryer Systems

In the quest for sustainable biomass production solutions, this paper introduces an innovative, cost-effective system tailored for algae cultivation and drying, originating from Lebanon. The system integrates a robust plastic tank equipped with a precise thermostat for temperature regulation. Complemented by a recirculation system powered by an air pump, it ensures uniform nutrient distribution and optimal growth conditions within the tank. Additionally, the system integrates a UV disinfection mechanism coupled with a specialized filtration system. Through meticulous examination, this paper elucidates the design, functionality, and operational efficiency of each component, emphasizing its potential to advance sustainable agriculture and bio-resource utilization practices.
