Abstract Purpose This chapter aims to identify the various dimensions within the supply chain industry that contribute to achieving sustainable practices. This research focuses on finding solutions that align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Design/Methodology/Approach The study employs an integrated literature review methodology to achieve the objectives. More than 30 research articles in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) were meticulously analyzed from leading international journals. The review specifically focused on the development of Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) practices and processes within the last decade (2010–2020). Initially, 250 papers were considered, with the final selection refined to 30 studies that directly aligned with the research direction. Findings We observed the emergence of SSCM as a framework encompassing sustainability perspectives such as the bottom line. While there has been an increase in depth and methodological rigor, our analysis also highlights areas for improvement in theory, methodology, and practical relevance within SSCM research. Practical Implications The outcome of this research paper will provide dimensions and directions to the supply chain industry to upscale and optimize their operations in accomplishing the goal of sustainability connecting with the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework. Originality/Value This paper adds value by providing a rigorous, systematic, methodology-valid review of the empirical SSCM research landscape over 20 years.
