Effects of Implementing Environmental and Economical Conductor Size Optimization in On-site Power Purchase Agreement Model Project

This report presents the estimated and measured values of the effects of implementing Environmental and Economical Conductor Size Optimization (ECSO) for power cables in a photovoltaic facility in an on-site third-party power purchase agreement model project. A slight difference was found between the estimated and measured values. The estimated recovery period for the increased investment was about 7.1 years, shorter than the equipment lifespan, and the annual CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> reduction was equivalent to the CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> amount absorbed by 27 cedar trees.
