Design and implementation of indoor carbon dioxide remote monitoring system

With the improvement of living standards, indoor air quality, particularly harmful gases like CO2, formaldehyde, and carbon monoxide, has gained increasing attention. Although CO2 poses minimal daily risks, high concentrations can lead to serious health issues, ranging from drowsiness to death. This design proposes an indoor CO2 remote monitoring system, where sensor nodes collect data, which is then forwarded and transmitted through communication nodes to a coordinator. The SIM800C module sends data to a mobile app via GPRS for real-time monitoring. Experimental tests show that the system is stable, feasible, and holds strong potential for application and promotion
