Analysis of Requirements for the Provision of Personal Protective Equipment for an Electrical Installer on a Construction Site

Non-use and untimely application of personal protective equipment (PPE) is one of the main causes of injuries and fatalities of electricians at construction sites. In accordance with the updated requirements of the legislation on labor protection, in addition to the mandatory compilation of norms of free issuance of PPE and flushing agents for the employees of the organization, the employer is obliged to develop and approve a local normative act that establishes the procedure for providing employees with PPE, including additional. This article analyzes the regulatory documents governing the provision of PPE for electricians. The most common occupational risks are identified and an additional set of PPE for this profession is proposed.
