DO NÓ BORROMEANO À DOENÇA ONCOLÓGICA: Considerações psicanalíticas acerca do adoecimento frente ao câncer

This article proposes, from a perspective based on psychoanalytic theory, to analyze the oncological experience based on discursive fragments of cancer patients hosted in a non-governmental organization in the city of Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro. To this end, we resorted to the perspective of the dimensions (dit-mansions) that the speaking being inhabits, as proposed by the French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan – real, symbolic and imaginary – and its Borromean connection. In this study, we sought to bring together clinic, research and theory, as postulated by Sigmund Freud, and outline considerations in the direction of proposing a differential clinic in the field of oncology, articulating the intersection between physical, social and psychological factors that permeate the experience of the subject with cancer.
