Factors influencing the thermal performance of modern window aluminum profiles

<ns3:p>Heat losses through window profiles constitute a significant part of heat losses in a building. For this reason, a number of studies are taken to improve their thermal properties. This work focuses on the possibilities of improving the thermal properties of an aluminum window profiles with an opening sash. The analyses carried out show that the greatest reduction in heat losses through the profile, i.e. the greatest reduction in the heat transfer coefficient of the profile, is possible through the use of isolators (thermal insulation inserts) and low surface emissivity. Other methods, such as dividing the cavities into smaller ones, have a smaller effect on this coefficient, but are characterized by higher efficiency measured by the amount of material used</ns3:p>
