(KDI) reports on a flexible, switchable film that mitigates infrared, visible, and radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic frequencies to counter the conspicuity of sensor windows in action. By designing an adjustable component that switches rapidly to change the IR, RF and visual signature of sensor windows, the goal to advance warfighter protection and mission achievement becomes realized through a US-made component that can be rapidly retrofit on current equipment.
