The use of probiotic Liquafidin in capsulated form the cultivation of Ladoga palia in IP Romanov (Leningrad region)

Materials on the use of probiotic LiquaFid in capsule form in juvenile Ladoga palii are presented. In the conditions of modern industrial fish farms of various types, the risk of bacterial diseases increases. Various probiotic and immunomodulatory drugs are actively used in modern aquaculture. LiquaFid containing live cultures of Bacillus megaterium and Bacillus subtilis bacteria (produced by BIOTROF LLC, St. Petersburg) as active ingredients seems promising for use in aquaculture. Experimental work on the use of probiotics was carried out at the fish farming enterprise IP “Romanov” (Leningrad region, Lopukhinka settlement). The Ladoga palia at the age of one year old was chosen as the object of research. The drug was administered orally in capsule form with two courses of food, the duration of each course was 19 and 21 days, respectively, the break between courses was 26 days. An analysis of the experimental results showed a statistically significant increase in body weight and length in the experimental groups, as well as a significant increase in growth rate. The research confirms the beneficial effect of the capsule form of this drug on the digestive processes of fish. Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus megaterium strains, due to their probiotic activity, stimulate the growth of normal intestinal microflora, improve the absorption of nutrients in the gastrointestinal tract, inhibit the development of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, and stimulate the immune system to promote more active growth of bacteria. The encapsulated form of the probiotic LiquaFid allows microorganisms to be delivered directly into the intestines of fish, which significantly increases the efficiency of the strains.
