Neurocognitive Foundations for a Nonscientist (a.k.a. Brain Science, the Squishy Bits)

To better understand how the human mind works, you first have to, well, understand how the machine responsible for it works. Similarly, to be able to understand the advantages and vagaries of AI, you have to understand (at least at a basic level) how AI works. Comprehending the building blocks and basic mechanics of both organic and mechanical systems facilitates a better understanding of their limitations and potentials.
