The swift advancement of digital health infrastructure demands a secure and flexible software development approach. Secure DevOps, also known as DevSecOps, incorporates security into the DevOps lifecycle, which is essential for medical applications due to their sensitive nature and compliance obligations. This research article offers a secondary data analysis regarding the adoption of Secure DevOps practices in the healthcare sector, emphasizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, end-to-end encryption, role-based access control (RBAC), and threat modeling. The study examines industry reports, healthcare security frameworks, and case studies to assess best practices, security vulnerabilities, and strategies for mitigation. The findings indicate that Secure DevOps considerably decreases breach incidents, enhances compliance adherence, and boosts operational efficiency within healthcare IT systems.
