Implementation of the Software System “Virtual Warehouse of Thick Sheet Metal” Using the Original Interface

The article is devoted to the creation of a software system “Virtual warehouse of thick sheet metal”. The work solves problems related to the management of the movement of thick sheet metal in a warehouse of unfinished production, where the placement of sheet metal is organized in the format of a stack with no sorting taking into account the parameters of the sheet. As a result, over time, information about the structure of the metal stack is lost, despite the fact that the logistics are quite simple. It should be noted that the metal is moved by a crane, that is, a person becomes a subject of control. In this context, it is important to prevent re-sorting, since the crane lifts several sheets at the same time. It is proposed to solve the existing problem by developing a program for a system with an interface, the basic element of which will be the representation of the warehouse structure in the form of a “stack of coins with an offset”, where a set of functions will be provided that allows you to generate a list of commands to the crane operator in accordance with ensuring the continuity of the metal batch. The system also implements an algorithm that allows you to find the necessary sheets according to the entered parameters, visualize a complete map of their location and specification in the warehouse.
