Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible condition that frequently affects elderly cats and is characterized by the gradual and permanent loss of renal function. Clinical signs include polyuria, polydipsia, weight loss, anorexia, vomiting, and lethargy, which are commonly observed in the more advanced stages of the disease. Therapeutic management aims to slow disease progression and improve quality of life with interventions such as renal diets, blood pressure control, and symptomatic support. Early identification is essential, although often challenging. Alterations in phosphorus metabolism, blood pressure, and acid-base balance are common and require continuous clinical attention. Individualized strategies are crucial to promote longevity and well-being in affected cats. This retrospective study analyzes five years of homeopathic treatment in 60 cats (average age: 14 years) based on the principle of similitude described by Samuel Hahnemann. Each cat underwent clinical consultation and repertorization. The most frequently prescribed remedies included Phosphorus (25%), Arsenicum album (18.3%), Apis mellifica (16.7%), Lycopodium clavatum (16.7%), Cantharis (8.3%), Serum anguilae (5%), Stramonium (5%), and Mercurius solubilis (5%), with potencies ranging from 12 cH to 200 cH. All cats also received biotherapics of Urea and Creatinine 30 cH twice daily without dosage changes. The animals were already in Stage 3 of CKD, with creatinine levels between 2.9 and 5.0 mg/dL, and showed moderate to severe clinical compromise, including vomiting, weight loss, lethargy, halitosis, and oral ulcers. After starting homeopathic treatment, these cats lived between 2.5 and 5 years without vomiting, with improved appetite and weight gain, absence of oral ulcers, and displaying playful behavior. Potency adjustments were made during treatment by increasing potencies as needed. Conclusion: Cats with chronic kidney disease experienced increased well-being and longer lifespans with their guardians through homeopathic treatment, achieved with quality of life and without unpleasant symptoms
