Impact of Neuropsychiatric Symptoms on Caregiver Burden in Major Neurocognitive Disorder due to Lewy Body Disease: A Bibliometric Analysis

This paper is a bibliometric analysis of research on the impact of neuropsychiatric symptoms on caregiver burden in major neurocognitive disorder due to Lewy Body Disease (LBD). An analysis of 770 articles published between 1986 and 2025 was conducted to identify research trends and key contributors in this field. The study reveals a shift in focus from pathological and diagnostic studies toward neuropsychiatric symptoms, caregiver burden, and patient-centered care. Using bibliometric indicators such as keyword co-occurrence, citation topics, and institutional collaborations, this analysis highlights the evolving landscape and geographic distribution of LBD research, underscoring the growing importance of addressing caregiver outcomes in the management of this disease.
