Built4People: Building Innovation Networks and Associated IT Services for a Sustainable Construction Industry

This paper presents an original clustering approach aiming at facilitating enhanced knowledge sharing among stakeholders from the Whole Built Environment value chain towards green and digital transition in the AEC/FM sector. It introduces the Digital Product Passport as a key enabler of the Built4People Innovation Clusters process for assessment of innovative products and assets in achieving performance objectives. It also illustrates the feasibility of this original approach in presenting the current state of the Built4People Innovation Clusters network with 20 European Innovation Clusters and outlines the perspectives of expansion of this network by 2028.
