Demonstration of a Dense O-Band $8 \times 8$ InP Monolithic Photonic Broadcast & Select Space Switch at 100 Gb/s PAM-4

We assess the performance of a broadcast and select, O-band <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$8 \times 8$</tex> space switch using 100Gb/s PAM-4 modulated data. The average power penalty at the FEC-limit is 0.8dB with 34dB OSNR and <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$&gt;50 ~\text{dB}$</tex> on/off ratio.
