Research of spectral responses for MM-T6CMOF-MM fiber optic structure under varying microstructured optical fiber lengths

This work reports the results of a test series, performed for a new complicated fiber optic structure, combining conventional, commercially available multimode optical fibers 62.5/125 (MM) and a microstructured optical fiber with six GeO₂-doped cores, induced twisting and “telecommunication” outer diameter 125 μm (T6CMOF). We present measured spectral responses over extended C-band under varying of T6CMOF segment lengths. Periodic forms of spectra, as well as the correlation between the number of peaks and the length of the T6CMOF segment length are detected.
