When Theory Becomes Form: Moving on from the Modular Man

<p>Critical learning from the past is key to moving forward, so with good humour and relevance to our 2025 venue, we look to Le Corbusier’s Modular Man as well as Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, both of which sought beauty, purity, and efficiency as guiding forces for better design outcomes. Recognising their contributions, we propose moving beyond their limitations; embracing regenerative thinking to empower all people, protect our fragile ecology, and foster a more integrated, holistic approach to design.</p>
