As the global economy shifts from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, companies have to adopt the latest digital technologies, reform their management processes and reformat their business principles in line with such global issues as the climate change, social transformations, and poor business sustainability. Industry 5.0 prioritizes the creative potential and environmental well-being of consumers. Advanced digital tools allow companies to adjust their activities to the changing consumer preferences. The authors studied the role of digital technologies in the organization and management of corporate activities, as well as their compliance with Industry 5.0. Based on the new tasks and challenges, they formulated proposals for reorientation of corporate digital tools to human development problems. Data from open sources were subjected to a quantitative and qualitative systematization to be represented by tabular and graphical methods. The research also involved a comparative analysis, case studies, and forecasting methods for assessing future trends in digitalization and their impact on business models. By comparing Industries 4.0 and 5.0, the authors analyzed the current digital tools used by companies to organize their activities and management. These tools depend on the geographical context and are different in China, the USA, and Russia. The new tasks and challenges posed by Industry 5.0 require new digital technologies to improve the quality of human-machine interaction and Big Data analysis, as well as to provide sustainable business models and integrate technology into the supply chain. The article contains some guidelines for modern businesses to adapt their management approaches and digital tools to Industry 5.0.
