Abstract

This poster details the development of Squidbox, a low-cost, compact Bluetooth-enabled MIDI controller designed and prototyped using makerspace resources at WPI to increase the accessibility of digital music creation for beginners by focusing on an intuitive interface for learning scales, chords, and music theory fundamentals.
