Review of: "Do Not Resuscitate Practices in ICU: A Descriptive Study"

This is an interesting article highlighting signi cant cultural differences in practice.I did nd some of the results a little dif cult to follow.For example, it wasn't clear if some individuals with a DNAR did survive.I think it could have bene ted more from positioning these results against accepted international guideline-driven practice.I found it interesting that there was a suggestion that decisions for DNAR could/should have been made prior to 24 hours after admission to the ICU.In many countries, if it were possible to make that decision early, then the patient would never have been admitted to the ICU.
