An Update of Clinically Significant Grapefruit Juice-Drug Interactions

Grapefruit juice is typically consumed in the morning while many patients take their medications. Therefore, there is a concern among healthcare professionals that this may result in clinically significant drug interactions. This review examines the current understanding of drug–grapefruit juice interactions, along with examples of specific medications affected by the ingestion of grapefruit juice.
