This paper reconstructs Akers' Social Learning Theory through transformation analysis, revealing that Association, Definition, Reinforcement, and Imitation form a triadic feedback system rather than a linear sequence. Imitation is not a separate causal mechanism but the emergent behavioral signature of coherence among the first three. Association provides social exposure; Definition organizes meaning, and Reinforcement operates as the feedback hinge that tests and stabilizes behavior. By modeling reinforcement as a structural operator rather than a peripheral condition, this analysis explains why imitation has historically tested weak as an independent variable and reframes it as a visible expression of system stability. The triadic model resolves long-standing empirical ambiguities and offers a dynamic framework for understanding behavioral pattern maintenance across social contexts.
