Abstract

Planar near field (NF) scanners are an essential tool to characterize antennas. They require minimal measurement space and are easy to operate. This work presents a compact planar mmWave multi-probe scanner. It discusses the necessary steps to align the probes and presents an appropriate probe compensation method using a calibration antenna.
