Formation of Territorial Communities in Context of Radar-Based Drone Control

This study introduces a hybrid algorithmic framework designed to enhance the safety of territorial communities through radar-guided drone management. The proposed approach combines the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) method to identify efficient evacuation paths to shelters with the Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) for optimal positioning of radar-based anti-drone systems. Instead of neutralizing unauthorized drones, the model prioritizes their safe redirection to pre-designated zones, reducing potential harm and bolstering community security. The framework’s performance is assessed via simulations that account for urban infrastructure, population distribution, and dynamic drone behavior. This research demonstrates the practical use of advanced optimization techniques to strengthen security in European urban settings, providing a flexible and scalable solution for contemporary challenges.
