The Human Moral Archive Framework (HMAF) Addendum III – The Moral Computational Process (MCP)

Addendum III – The Moral Computational Process (MCP) completes the operational sequence of the Human Moral Archive Framework (HMAF) by transforming moral analysis from representational modeling into active computation. Building upon the Moral Distribution Model (MDM), Moral Density Function (MDF), and Moral Distribution Indexing (MDI), this work introduces a closed-loop moral-information engine capable of calculating, stabilizing, and iteratively refining coherence within moral data systems. The MCP formalizes the recursive relationship among entropy, divergence, and coherence, defining transformation operators (ΔM, Ψ, Λ, Ω) and containerized data structures—the Moral State Matrix (MSM) and Moral Archive Container (MAC)—through which moral information becomes computable, auditable, and traceable. The addendum establishes the first integrated method for computing moral drift and stability under bounded ethical constraints, allowing both human and artificial agents to monitor informational coherence through time. By embedding transparency and immutability within its architecture, MCP advances HMAF’s founding objective: to create a moral framework that is empirically rigorous yet philosophically accountable. The document concludes by projecting the next stage of research—Addendum IV: Moral Emergence and Adaptive Moral Synthesis—thereby completing the transformation from moral reflection to moral computation within an ethically governed informational continuum.
