D5.2 CO2 capture integration scenarios

This deliverable defines and motivates the CO2 capture integration scenarios that will be investigated for process integration studies of post combustion capture in pulp and paper mills within work package 5 of the ACCSESS project. The work has focused on Stora Enso’s kraft pulp mill located in Skutskär (Sweden) and Stora Enso’s recycled paper mill located in Langerbrugge (Belgium). The scenarios include specifications of the flue gases considered for capture for both mills, definitions of the process modelling needed to evaluate the scenarios, as well as descriptions of mill conditions with respect to opportunities for heat integration.
