Proceedings of the CSU Elementary Mathematics and Science Professional Development Projects (2024–2025)

This compendium presents the proceedings of the 2024–2025 California State University (CSU) systemwide professional development (PD) projects funded under the Educator and Leadership Programs (ELP) of the California state University Office of the Chancellor. These initiatives were supported through a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NFO) for PK–5 Professional Development in Mathematics Content Knowledge, Data Science, and Science Literacy with NGSS Integration. Each funded project was designed to improve the teaching and learning of mathematics and science in California’s elementary schools through intensive summer institutes and year-round support. The overarching purpose of this two-year funding cycle was to enhance teachers’ content knowledge, strengthen pedagogy aligned with the California Mathematics Framework and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and to promote equitable, inclusive learning for diverse student populations across the state of California.
