Church of St Mary Magdalene, Duns Tew, Banbury, Oxfordshire: an archaeological watching brief

Excavations for a drain and a pumping station were monitored. The works uncovered a single inhumation burial in the pumping station area (just north-east of the church) This had been truncated, perhaps another graveyard deposit. Some disarticulated human bones, and two sherds of post-medieval and modern pottery were also noted but retained on site. All the human remains were reburied at the church.
