TAIL - Data extracted from Infrared Thermography videos of healthy and leprosy affected subjects' hands exposed to Cold Pressor Testing

The TAIL project aims to measure skin temperature effects in human hands to assess autonomic nerve function impairment caused by leprosy using a low-cost infrared thermographic camera. Infrared thermography videos were recorded before and after performing a Cold Pressor Test. The videos were processed using a Python script that extracts the skin temperature from the video for different Regions of Interest (ROI). During the next step in the analysis 4 ROI were selected for detailed analysis, and specific points in the temperature curves were extracted for these 4 ROI, giving the following variables: Tbase, T0, Tdrop, Tmax, t25, t50, Recovery5min, Recovery10min, Recovery15min. Also the mean background temperature mBG. For each subject each variable is averaged over the 4 ROI: m_[variable_name], and the Root Mean Square Error between these 4 ROI and their average is calculated: rmse_[variable_name]. This data set contains these extracted data, with a column for each variable. Each subject is represented by one row. Also included are descriptive and demographic and clinical data for each subject.
