AD-MERGE 2.0 is a global integrated assessment model (IAM) designed to evaluate long-term climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies within a hybrid framework. This Zenodo record archives the GAMS implementation of AD-MERGE 2.0, including core model modules, solution algorithm, and reporting scripts, enabling users to reproduce published scenarios or design new experiments by modifying assumptions, parameters, and policy settings. The model builds on the MERGE family of IAMs: MERGE (Manne et al., 1995), MERGE-ETL with endogenous technological change (Bahn et al., 2003, 2006, 2009, 2011), and AD-MERGE with explicit reactive and proactive adaptation (Bahn et al., 2019). AD-MERGE 2.0 extends this with different contributions, including an improved spatial and temporal resolution, a refined energy system, an updated climate module, and recalibrated damage and adaptation functions. The model code and data can be also accessed at: https://github.com/G-IAM/AD-MERGE-2.0 The visualization has been implemented using: Customizable-Semi-Automatic-Graphs-in-Python developed by Frédérik Lavictoire.
