CLIMATE CHANGE AS A RISK FACTOR FOR SECURITY

Climate change has been outlined as a major risk factor for the future development of social, economic processes. The National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and its Action Plan until 2030 presents the main types of impacts in key sectors of the economy. The promotion of the main ideas set out in these documents is the main objective of this overview report. The purpose of the National CCA Strategy, its structure, principles and tasks, the impact of climate change on the security environment, the vulnerability of the national security region and the forecasting models to be used until 2050. The conclusions confirm the strengths and weaknesses of the impact of climate change on the sectoral policy.
