The El Ghandour Identity Theorem: Minimal Robust Structure of Identity-Maintaining Systems

We prove that any identity-maintaining system requiring internal fault tolerance via discrete redundancy must exhibit a 2/3 : 1/3 structural ratio. This result follows from two independent findings: (1) the intersection of simple ratios L = {n/(n+1)} and Fibonacci ratios R = {Fₙ/Fₙ₊₁} yields exactly L ∩ R = {1/2, 2/3}, and (2) the minimal robust asymmetric partition of unity under majority recovery that survives single-point corruption is 2/3 : 1/3. Since identity requires persistent distinction, and persistence under internal fault tolerance requires robust recoverability, systems maintaining identity through discrete internal redundancy converge to this ratio. This result unifies observations across distributed systems, biological coordination, and organizational governance.
