Deliverable D5.6 consolidates the GREENGAGE Academy as the project’s final and enduring knowledge legacy, transforming the results of Work Package 5 into a structured, open and reusable European Knowledge Commons. Building on the evidence generated in D5.2 and the capacity developed through D5.4, this deliverable brings together validated methodologies, digital tools, training materials and pilot showcases into a coherent framework designed for long-term reuse beyond the project lifetime. The Academy moves beyond the logic of isolated project outputs by curating GREENGAGE resources as modular, FAIR-aligned assets. Methodological guides formalise the design and operation of Citizen Observatories; best practice manuals support public authorities in adopting citizen science within governance processes; and a comprehensive training curriculum provides reusable learning resources covering ethics, data management, standards, sensing technologies and analytical approaches. Together, these elements ensure that the knowledge generated by GREENGAGE is not only preserved, but operationally accessible to future users. In parallel, the deliverable includes reference to the documentation of the GREENGAGE digital ecosystem (GREEN Engine), collaboration platforms, data infrastructures, analytical tools and crowdsourcing applications. All this documentation is included in the GREENGAGE Academy for reuse in future projects. Pilot showcases and analytical outputs are included not as evaluations of impact, but as structured examples of practice that illustrate how methodologies and tools can be applied in real-world settings. These curated showcases strengthen the Academy’s role as a reference point for practitioners, enabling learning through concrete, transferable use cases rather than project-specific narratives. Finally, D5.6 positions the GREENGAGE Academy as a sustainable European asset, closely aligned with EU priorities on the Green Deal, Open Science and FAIR data, and strategically connected to the Community of Citizen Observers (CoCO). By embedding GREENGAGE knowledge within a broader international network, the deliverable ensures continuity, visibility and institutional uptake after the end of the project. In this way, D5.6 confirms the Academy as a lasting public good that supports replication, scaling and long-term integration of citizen science into environmental governance across Europe.
