CyberHealth Blockchain-Enabled AI System for Securing and Sharing Patient Records in Multi-Hospital Environments

Healthcare institutions may find it easier to manage patient data with the help of Electronic Health Records (EHRs). However, it also introduced systems multitasking issue, hindrance to system privacy, and security of sensitive data. In response to these issues, The work presents CyberHealth, a decentralized and integrated AI and blockchain-based system in a multi-hospital environment. CyberHealth uses blockchain technology to make data immutable and transparent, besides ensuring security of data. Also, artificial intelligence (AI) provides predictive health analytics and decision support and undertaking administrative chores. All at once, these technologies improve the performance of a healthcare institution. Additionally, they contribute to better patient care, operational efficiency, and data security. The system uses smart contracts that checks if access and updates to data comply with RBAC. The platform includes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and AI to make data management easy and secure patient data sharing. A prototype of CyberHealth was made and tested which has given strong evidence of its ability to protect sensitive patient data, increase interoperability and reduce data breach risks. As per the outcomes, CyberHealth can improve management of healthcare data and help in seamless exchange of data between establishments. Also, provide a scalable and secure solution for up-gradation of healthcare systems. The healthcare data safety and security system has positive potential in the real world.
