The study of religious tourism is relevant in the context of modern education, youth policy and humanitarian knowledge, which necessitates a systematic analysis of its pedagogical, cultural and social potential. The relevance of the topic is due to several factors: socio-pedagogical aspect — religious tourism is an effective means of forming moral, spiritual and social competencies of young people; culturological aspect — trips to religious and cultural centers contribute to familiarization with historical heritage, traditions and spiritual values; educational aspect — integration of religious tourism into the system of informal education provides a combination of practical experience and learning, stimulates critical thinking and self-reflection; social aspect — development of intercultural dialogue, tolerance and active civic position through participation in religious and cultural initiatives. The purpose of the study is to identify the essence and potential of religious tourism as a means of spiritual, cultural and intellectual development of the individual, as well as to substantiate methodological and pedagogical approaches to its organization in the conditions of modern society. The object of the study is religious tourism as a socio-cultural phenomenon and a form of informal education that affects the spiritual, intellectual and moral development of the individual. The subject of the study is the pedagogical, cultural, social and innovative aspects of the organization of religious routes, pilgrimages and educational and educational programs, as well as their impact on the formation of the spiritual and intellectual culture of youth. Scientific novelty: a model of pedagogical support for pilgrimages is substantiated, which integrates innovative technologies, an intercultural approach and value-oriented education.
