The Yup'ik way of life is not a human-made construct but a sacred gift from the Creator, designed to produce individuals who embody wisdom, integrity and leadership. Leadership in this tradition is not sought but earned through living in alignment with these teachings. By following the ancestral path, one becomes a good human being, capable of guiding others with compassion and vision.
