Supporting files for the book chapter "A Benchmark for Advanced Control of the TCP-100 Parabolic Trough Plant"

This work presents a benchmark model of the TCP-100 parabolic trough collector (PTC) plant, recently built at the Plataforma Solar de Almería (PSA), to support research in control and operation of concentrating solar power (CSP) systems. In these plants, it is necessary to implement advanced controllers as they are characterized by strong nonlinearities and multiple disturbance sources such as solar radiation. The benchmark is designed to provide a realistic yet accessible framework for testing and comparing control methodologies. The proposed benchmark enables systematic evaluation of advanced control strategies, facilitating reproducibility and comparison. This contribution is expected to serve as a reference tool for advancing control techniques in CSP facilities.
