Hatchet v0.74.9 There have been many improvements to Hatchet since our last release, spanning frontend work, performance improvements for the internals of the service (database / queue), new product features, and bug fixes. First and foremost v0.74.9 is the first official release that has officially removed the majority of the code from the V0 version of Hatchet! We recommend upgrading to the newest SDKs. The newest SDK versions are: Go: v0.74.9 Python: 1.22.3 TypeScript: 1.10.5 Performance Improvements The removal of v0 paths on the Hatchet engines have shown up to a 30% latency improvement in our internal benchmarking ANALYZE is now run on partitioned tables every few hours to recompute statistics, which greatly improves query performance on the dashboard, in particular. A number of deadlocks which would appear under high load have been fixed. Miscellaneous query performance and schema improvements, which have improved the performance of the engine and API significantly. New Features Hatchet Cloud now has a concept of an "Organization", which sits above a tenant, and allows for managing many tenants and organization members under a single umbrella. Organizations are currently only available on Hatchet Cloud. Organizations have the ability to create management tokens that can be used to automate provisioning resources from our new official Terraform Provider. Hatchet Lite now supports using RabbitMQ as the message queue backend when either SERVER_MSGQUEUE_RABBITMQ_URL or msgQueue.rabbitmq.url is set. Configuration Changes The default value for SERVER_MSGQUEUE_RABBITMQ_URL (or msgQueue.rabbitmq.url if defined via server.yaml) has been removed. As a result, this needs to now be set explicitly. Frontend Added a page for organization management (managed deployments only). Significant overhauls of existing pages, including styling, refetch behavior, and so on to give a more polished feel for the newest version of Hatchet!
