A dataset of genotypes called across the P. falciparum genome called jointly across severe and mild cases in The Gambia (1988-90) and severe cases from The Gambia and Kenya

This release contains genetic variation in the Plasmodium falciparum genome called across three datasets from two populations associated with this preprint. This included: 903 severe and mild cases from The Gambia collected 1988-90 sequenced at the Centre for Human Genetics (University of Oxford) known as the GAMCC dataset (raw sequence reads are available from the European Nucleotide Archive under the accession: PRJEB97067), and severe cases from the MalariaGEN CP1 dataset collected in The Gambia (N=2,235) and Kenya (N=1,936) (doi: https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586-021-04288-3).
