Structural Integrity, Governance and Sustainability in Private Educational Institutions: A Strategic Framework for Organisational Management in a Developing Nation

This article investigates the strategic imperatives for achieving sustainable organisational management in private educational institutions within developing nations. Using a single-case study of a primary and secondary college that initially experienced strong academic performance and growth but later suffered from financial mismanagement and administrative failures, the study identifies the structural vulnerabilities that undermine institutional sustainability. The paper introduces a comprehensive framework emphasizing systems, structure, supervision, delegation, and technology as critical mechanisms to safeguard organisational continuity. Findings highlight that while trust among staff is important, it is insufficient for long-term success; robust governance, data integrity, effective supervisory systems, adaptable leadership, and external accountability are essential for sustainable operations.
