RAW — Ontological Audit Systems Formal Definition of a New Class of Instrumental Systems

This publication formally fixes a new class of instrumental systems — RAW (Ontological Audit Systems). RAW is designed to perform ontological audit of the foundations on which a human or an automated system intends to make decisions or perform actions. RAW is not a generative, agentic, recommendation, or optimization system. Its function is strictly limited to verifying the admissibility of underlying assumptions prior to analysis, optimization, or execution. RAW does not make decisions, does not act, and does not replace human responsibility. The system returns strictly one of three outcomes:— Admissible— Inadmissible— Insufficiently defined This document fixes an observable structural gap in existing computational systems and formally defines RAW as a separate class of instrumental systems.
