PMSM vibroacoustic reduced-order model with 3D variable eccentricity

This paper presents a high-fidelity 3-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine electromagneticvibroacoustic unidirectional coupled reduced-order model for 3dimensional eccentricity vibroacoustic analysis. The electromagnetic reduced-order model that can capture 3dimensional eccentricity effects using a projection of the orbit on series of machine slices is characterized, specifically at the air-gap forces level. The vibroacoustic reduced order-model using unitary force shape vibroacoustic responses is presented and the acoustic results coming from the vibration-synthesis method for a run-up condition are discussed for a non-eccentric, static and dynamic eccentricity case.
