Abstract

A non-contact imager is demonstrated based on an open-ended, rectangular-waveguide coupler, and a coherent 94-GHz reflectometer. The range between the coupler and target is set to operate in the radiative near field, where the spot diameter is measured to be ≈ λ/4 in free space at ~1 mm range.
