Bringing Student-Centered Learning to the Masses through Problem Solving in a “Teaching Without Telling” Approach

This article discusses the P(problem) S(solving), I Love You! workshop that was conducted at the MCTM Annual Conference in October 2024. The two presenters conducted four thought provoking, nonroutine problems that are suitable for students in grades 3 through 9 and focused on the use of cooperative small groups, Polya's Problem Solving Model, and aspects of Social Emotional Learning.
